I also can sense that the storyline had to be stretched so that the show can continue. Come to think of it, I am a little bit disappointed of the whole Preston-Christina ending, as I thought Burke figured Christina out. I don't understand why he only saw the real her now. Maybe because love is blinding. But I still think they could have been happy together.
